I am not tryna be inflammatory, so buy RuneScape gold I am just seeing more... Gripes on this subreddit concerning the teams running RS3. I adored RuneScape way back when, I am about 20 days off from my 15 year cape lol. I see concurrent RuneScape player prices, but what do you guys think? To what sounds like a OSRS community, or go back and start from scratch? I am stumped. Both are enjoyable for different reasons, I am really looking for the community's ideas.

Depends on what you're searching for. RS3 is much more about the endgame because amounts are incredibly simple to get, so it is mostly about large level PvM. There are a whole lot of quality-of-life updates and things can be done afk, instead of the tunnel grind-fest that is original. PvM has far more sophistication than OSRS and also the skill ceiling is really high, individuals who are good enough can take on team bosses independently or do struggles with no food/armor, etc.. OSRS kept the grindy degrees and you can't afk much so there are more low-mid level RuneScape players, even though it can be pretty empty in RS3 outside of a couple places where high level RuneScape players congregate. OSRS minigames are more alive and the community is bigger but they also have more bots, whilst RS3 minigames are basically all dead. OSRS has a pvp scene whilst RS3 does. High degree PvM is mostly.

Tyvm sense. I have a friend who performs osrs and"carpel tunnel grinding" is his typical bread peanut butter in matches lmao. OSRS does prayer flicking, they don't really have other mechanics. RS3 has tons of different abilities and you have to use the right ones at the ideal times to counter boss mechanisms and either not die or get treated instead. It's how proficient RuneScape players can survive 2 hours of a team boss whilst alone and win.I'd say stay with the main game (RS3) unless you have a specific reason to play OSRS, e.g. you enjoy the old battle system, the graphics, the grind, etc..

Like many others, I quit upon EoC release. Came because of OSRS mobile back. Played for a lengthy time. Then finally got tired of OSRS and went back to RS3. I like the new combat system more than I liked the old one. The drawback is that I have friends that perform their telephones and cellular only can't manage RS3. So they are stuck with OSRS. 07 scape has a special place in my heart but damn does it feel like a job. No bank presets, no hotkeys, etc.. Some skills still give me shivers thinking about... like Agility, Runecrafting, and Structure. Some days I right up gave carpal tunnel training those abilities to myself and wonder wtf I am doing with my life. Well, anyhow. I suppose I grew up. And I'm not as hardcore as I was years ago. Only nothing but a geymer.

As somebody who has played because RSC (though I skipped lots of this RS2 period), I'm a massive fan of Runescape as opposed to Old School. I simply love all of the QOL improvements and the expanded features list personally. That's completely what I am thinking. Not that OS doesn't get QoL but man, there is a great deal of stuff which makes life simpler in RS3. Ive been mining to prepare for Priffdinas. It is worth noting RuneLite is an add-on a gigantic quantity of OSRS RuneScape players use and it adds a whole lot of really major QOL. In case the website is to be reliable, about 84K/134K RuneScape players OSRS right now use RuneLite. It has more things than I could possibly list, although it is not likely to allow you to AFK something like that or buy rs3 gold the manner RS3 does.
