• I'd also say a big distinction is the players' mindset. The OSRS team really needs to make sure new methods are balanced and dont devalue the original procedures. In RS3 pretty much any upgrade that makes anything appears to be welcome rs 3 gold. In OSRS with the house revamp its really important to balance the methods that are newest so excellent houses dont just come to be a cakewalk for.
  
  OSRS probably gets much more leverage with management on controlling the direction of Runescape, since we're the ones who stop when they made"bad" updates the neighborhood was against (or at least they can make that case). If a substantial portion of the participant base hadn't put their money with their complaints and stop after wildy/free trade and notably EOC or similar upgrades then came back to OSRS, this environment wouldnt exist.
  
  We get the advantage of their high ups looking at the revenue of OSRS, and realizing that if they push the team to some dumb decision, most of that money will go, because the core player base has proven they will leave. RS3 players remained, or started after"bad" upgrades, and they also proved that some will spend less on MTX, and those who won't are not quitting, and paying membership. This means they're under a lot of pressure to add more MTX and ways to generate income.
  
  Just make it so one account does not have access to friends list, or even talk in public chat if that's the issue. I'm sure a bunch of players would play both games concurrently if given the chance. It seems to be a simple fix to just bar 1 accounts (it may be just default whichever you log in second with) from accessing any problematic issues with running a copy. You could even include this in your premier bundle listing of w/e or advantages. Would anyone else want to perform on both versions? I would also like to see more friends list/chat features: Ability to right click send message to a broadcast statement (each participant could click this off if they didn't want to be spammed).
  
  I believe that requires both engine and backend web changes, meaning this will literally never happen I am afraid. I really like jagex excuse"requires engine function" just like what we paying a monthly subscription fee for? That excuse is absurd, you are basically asking jagex to flip a diesel car into a hybrid vehicle, it is technically possible but ridiculously overcomplicated for not so much of a benefit.
