At Earthens, being inspired means doing what we do best- producing foodware that's biodegradable, durable, compostable, stylish and stands out for its natural look and feel. We stay true to the earth by using an agricultural by product - fallen palm leaves - that we borrow (and frequently save from being burned) and then return to the earth. The genesis of Earthens is from the earth. Earthens products are completely compostable & biodegradable ; thereby giving valuable nutrients back to earth and also meeting the criteria for environmental sustainability.

To meet the international market growing demand, Earthens has integrated its know how and infrastructure to produce bioplates made from areca palm sheaths with the highest level of sanitary standards. We put fair trade and sustainability at the core of everything we do. Our factory uses the most efficient, eco-friendly and pro-social technologies and practices we can get. Quality is the most important founding pillar for Earthens foodware. To conform international quality & standards, we have developed our facility where highest quality palm sheaths are available in abundant.
An all-women’s team is running Earthens factory. Most of the women that are employed are the primary breadwinners of their families. There is a sense of ownership that they possess towards their work that makes them better workers. We truly believe that women can craft our bioplates with precision.
We craft our bioplates on international standards. Such standards are also ensured when we procure from our responsible cluster units. They are chosen based on their consistency and quality. It’s totally like choosing a new home-our standards are just Extra HIGH. They give us heat pressed plates according to our given parameters and we do all final sorting, cleaning & packing in-house. They are fine tuned with us and we ensure highest quality and consistency for all our products.
